  • We have curated a list of recommended hotels on our website under the “accommodations” tab. On the day of the wedding, we will provide transportation to and from the venue and these hotels. As such, we recommend choosing from one of the provided options, or another hotel along Rockland’s Main Street for ease of transportation.

  • As soon as possible!!! Late August is peak season in Midcoast Maine, and accommodations book up quickly. We highly recommend booking your accommodations early to ensure you have a comfortable place to stay for the weekend.

  • In general, we recommend guests rent a car for the weekend as public transportation and ride share is quite limited in the area.

    Welcome Party at Primo: Our welcome party will be hosted on the Primo restaurant property in Rockland. Guests may drive or take a local cab. Parking will be available on site.

    Ceremony & Reception at Sunrise: The Orne’s family beach house, fondly known as Sunrise, is a ~15 minute drive from Rockland. We will provide transportation to and from the venue and hotels under the accommodations tab. Parking will also be available near the venue on a grass field for guests who choose to drive.

  • Kindly RSVP through our website by July 1st, 2027 to help us finalize seating and details. If you need to adjust your RSVP after submitting, please reach out to us directly.

  • Welcome Party: Our welcome party dress code is cocktail attire. Think button downs and slacks for men, and dresses, skirts, or dressy sets for women. The event will take place in a converted barn with indoor and outdoor elements, so block heels are recommended. As temperatures may cool after sunset, we recommend ladies bring a sweater or a wrap.

    Ceremony & Reception: Our wedding dress code is summer formal. Suit and tie for gentleman, and tea or floor length, formal dresses for women. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so please keep the outdoor setting in mind when selecting footwear. We also recommend ladies bring a sweater or a wrap as it cools down at night, especially on the water.

  • The welcome party will take place in an indoor/outdoor converted barn.

    The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, with dinner and dancing under a floored tent. Our wedding will take place rain or shine. The wedding reception will be tented, and we have a weather plan in place to ensure a beautiful and comfortable celebration regardless of conditions. As parts of the wedding will be on grass, we recommend planning footwear accordingly.
