Things to do + See
Camden: Camden is a charming waterfront town - and also the groom’s hometown! Get a drink at one of the bars on the Lyman-Morse marina or walk along Bayview street for great local shops.
Rockland: Rockland is the nearest town to our venue. Walk along Main Street and pop into some of their great art galleries and museums as well as local shops and cafes.
Hiking and Walking : Maiden’s Cliff and Mount Battie in Camden offer great hiking trails for all levels and stunning views of Camden hills and the harbor. Approximately 20-30 minutes away from the Rockland/South Thomaston area.
Golfing: Goose River and Rockland Golf Course are both public courses in the area. Those staying at the Samoset can make a tee time at the Samoset golf course.
